So since i already here, i want to introduce to you all about kelantan :~

Kelantan is a state of Malaysia. The capital and royal seat is Kota Bharu. The Arabic honorific of the state is Darul Naim, ("The Blissful Abode").
Kelantan is positioned in the north-east of Peninsular Malaysia. It is bordered by Narathiwat Province of Thailand to the north, Terengganu to the south-east, Perak to the west, and Pahang to the south. To the north-east of Kelantan is the South China Sea.
Kelantan is located in the north-eastern corner of the peninsula, Kelantan, which is said to translate as the "Land of Lightning" (see alternate theories below), is an agrarian state with lush paddy fields, rustic fishing villages and casuarina-lined beaches. Kelantan is home to some of the most ancient archaeological discoveries in Malaysia, including several prehistoric aboriginal settlements.
Due to Kelantan's relative isolation and largely rural lifestyle, Kelantanese culture differs somewhat from Malay culture in the rest of the peninsula; this is reflected in the cuisine, arts, and the peculiar Kelantanese Malay dialect, which is unintelligible even for some speakers of standard Malay.

~ Taekwando ~

During my studies here, i had joined taekwando club this recently. I like learn martial art and its like a dream that finally i was able to learn its..before this i always wanted to learn its but never got chance bt here at UMK that chance very wide open. Indeed the training is hard especially to me whose just beginner but i will never give up and keep on continuously training. Our taekwando club was being called as THE GREAT WARRIOR TAEKWANDO ( WTF).

If  you all wonders about what is taekwando , here is the meaning is : ~

Taekwondo /ˌtˌkwɒnˈd/ (Korean 태권도 (跆拳道[tʰɛɡwʌndo]) is a martial art that originates from Korea. It combines combattechniques, self-defensesportexercise, and in some cases meditation and philosophy. In 1989, taekwondo was the world's most popular martial art in terms of number of practitioners.[1] Gyeorugi (pronounced [kjʌɾuɡi]), a type of sparring, has been an Olympic eventsince 2000.

There are two main branches of taekwondo development, which are not necessarily mutually exclusive:
  • "Traditional taekwondo" typically refers to the martial art as it was established in the 1950s and 1960s in the South Korean military, and in various civilian organisations, including schools and universities. In particular, the names and symbolism of the traditional patterns often refer to elements of Korean history, culture and religious philosophy. 'Traditional Taekwon-Do' may refer to ITF Taekwon-Do as created by the founder of ITF Taekwon-Do General Choi Hong Hi on April 11, 1955; or WTF Taekwondo, founded by Dr Kim Un Yong on May 25, 1973.
  • "Sport taekwondo" has developed in the decades since the 1950s and may have a somewhat different focus, especially in terms of its emphasis on speed and competition (as in Olympic sparring). Sport taekwondo is in turn subdivided into two main styles; one is practiced by WTF Taekwondo practitioners, and derives from Kukkiwon, the source of the sparring system sihap gyeorugi which is now an event at the summer Olympic Games and which is governed by the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). Today, the Kukkiwon, or World Taekwondo Headquarters is the traditional center for WTF taekwondo. The other comes from the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF).
Although there are doctrinal and technical differences between sparring in the two main styles and among the various organizations, the art in general emphasizes kicks thrown from a mobile stance, employing the leg's greater reach and power (compared to the arm). Taekwondo training generally includes a system of blocks, kicks, punches, and open-handed strikes and may also include various take-downs or sweeps, throws, and joint locks. Some taekwondo instructors also incorporate the use of pressure points, known asjiapsul, as well as grabbing self-defense techniques borrowed from other martial arts, such as hapkido and judo.
In Koreantae () means "to strike or break with foot"; kwon () means "to strike or break with fist"; and do () means "way", "method", or "path". Thus, taekwondo may be loosely translated as "the way of the hand and the foot." The name taekwondois also written as taekwon-dotae kwon-do, or tae kwon do by various organizations, based on historical, philosophical, or political reasons.

While  The World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) is the International Federation (IF) member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the competition events of the martial art of taekwondo. International Federations (IFs) are international non-governmental organisations recognised by the IOC as administering one or more sports at world level.

The WTF was established in South Korea on May 28, 1973, at its inaugural meeting held at the Kukkiwon with participation of 35 representatives from the world. The WTF, which only governs the function of Taekwondo competitions and related support services, should not be confused with the World Taekwondo Headquarters, also known as Kukkiwon, which is a center of learning and research of taekwondo located in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. Former WTF president Kim Un-Yong successfully lobbied to include taekwondo sparring competition as a demonstration sport in the 1988 and 1992 Summer Olympics, and official Full Medal Olympic sport beginning in 2000.
According to the WTF, "Taekwondo is one of the most systematic and scientific Korean traditional martial arts, that teaches more than physical fighting skills. It is a discipline that shows ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind. Today, it has become a global sport that has gained an international reputation, and stands among the official games in the Olympics."

In facing this kind of world, nowday its importance to know martial art to defence ourself from any harmful and etc. We learn its not to show that we strong or whatever its but we learn its for ourself and to protect others people that dearest to us...

~ Mooncake festival ~

On the last Saturday on  20 / 10 / 2012, has held a mooncake festival at campus Jeli, branch of UMK. The festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the chinese calendar, during a full moon. This year event was set at campus Jeli, so we whose from campus of Pengkalan Chepa need to go there and celebrate at there. On that day, we departure from here at 3 pm and  we arrive at there 2 hours later. The scenery at campus Jeli is amazed me and my friend because the condition at there is totally different than here. Their place is really wide and big even their field also can be said almost the same size with the campus here. However every campus had own advantage and disadvantages.... as for us whose campus located near the main city, we can get necessary need easily while the student at campus Jeli didnt aside what university had provided for them since their location is at countryside.. Instead of that, student at campus Jeli had own advantage too like can see beautiful scenery, can breath fresh air, do jungle trekking and so on since their campus near with the mountain which just right on the back of their campus while we didnt get to do so since we are surrounded by building.

Since the festival start at 7pm, me and my friend decided to take a tour around the campus of Jeli then we back again to the study hall and watching the movie which was on the televisyen that time. At 7pm, we went  to the main hall for the event .
The event start with the speech, then there is had acting show that showing the mean of mooncake festival need to be held and be commemorated. After that there is also had dance for mooncake festival, aside that we also had activity that bring tanglung and go around the certain track place to enjoy the festival. The festival end by the performance of their acting and after delivery mooncake to us with the message revolution which suited with performance on stage to show on how they deliver message to everyone in ancient time to revolt against tyrant king. We going back to campus at 11pm and arrive around 1am.

Honestly this is my first time i join something like this and its was very fun ^__^ . Beside im like to know and learn other people culture and etc.

 World view about culture

Indeed in this world there is had so many culture and etc out there and we will never know about its if we didnt want to learn its. People say that because of that differentiation in culture, religious and belief that make people distance themself from other races or whose is different to them but what will happen if we know each other? why must we just stay in own world?..how we can be successful if that is our life way? respect, trust, honest and good manner is something very important...with that we can even friend with people all over the world. trust me, this world is so wide and there is many things that we dont and never know..also there is also had many type of people out there which sometime you wont believe that kind of person exist but yet its still there .and there is also will had challenges that awaiting us out there that you can never imagine, so from now on trust yourself, trust in your strength,` gain knowledge as much as you can . You no need to change your belief or culture, but its very important to know others people well too and for sure you will enjoy is because that differentiation and lots of variety will make your life colourful and wonderful.

My memorial :-

first building that i saw once arrived here
I arrived at the UMK (University Malaysia Kelantan) on the morning of Sunday at 3 am. We went to see the university guard because I had missed the day of registration which already be conducted on Saturday morning. Then, we were told that I still can register at 8 am later. We then sought help from the students here for the registration process at 8 am. Then two facilitators came to help us. They took me to the office for the registration of dorm room. Then, my family and  facilitators help lift my luggage into dorm rooms.

Upon arriving I was in the room, I found that there is one only occupant at the time and I was the second. Upon completion of lifting, I said goodbye to my family because they can not be long in this university. Then, I joined other students in the hall for the next registration process. At first, I was baffled as to what I need to do but I finally decided to look for information on how to register by own. After finished registering, I went back to the hall which then its atmosphere turned interesting by appearance of Merry and Amirul to prevent us from boredom waiting for our colleagues to complete registration. Then, I met my roommate who came from Terengganu.

roommates from sabah
On the second day after returning to the room from the activity, I found there were 2 luggage in both the empty bed. After a busy day to attend activities organized by student-friendly week (3M), I was finally able to meet up with both new roommates. They are derived from sabah and just come by.

3M conducted throughout the week, I feel very excited with our activities. This is the first time I feel very happy and fun. Its felt totally different when in high school. Although this university is a new university and lacking in facilities but it still has its own advantages and unique. Not least there is the sister and brother which earnest facilitators in the success of the 3M week. Here I also know a dance and song is unique and interesting, namely xi shua shua other than performances by the our senior like dikir barat and dance to us. I still remember at the last days of week 3M, sister and brother facilitator shows us new style of song xi shua shua.

graduation day of UMK for the 2nd time
After end week of 3M, our lives as students finally began. Time passed quickly and me and my roommate became a good friend. During this time, I have exploring around the campus and also at KB Mall. I found  that here life are peace and tranquility except having trouble in understanding the talk of Kelantan language. In the second week, we are required to attend and participate in the graduation ceremony PESKO for it the second time.

At beginning my life here is very boring so lots of time we just watching a movie to kill boredom. But now, I have been able to familiarize themselves with the atmosphere here, as well as food. In the last week, has held a meeting with our senior from the same course. The meeting was very meaningful because now I have a better understanding of the courses I took and the meeting was very fun.

My experience during staying here is very enjoyable because able to meet good friends and got a good lecturers.  My resolve while being here is to study hard and want to try something new as much as can and gain experience.

~~~ NO PAIN, NO GAIN ~~~
